An all party meeting is currently underway at Singha Durbar in Kathmandu to discuss current political issues. The meeting was called by Ravi Lamichhane, the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and is being held at the Public Accounts Committee hall inside the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

The RSP chairman had invited the top leadership, including the chairs or presidents along with one other representative, from all political parties that have a presence in the House of Representatives and the National Assembly. While Rajendra Lingden, the chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), is attending the discussion, major political forces like the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), and CPN (Maoist Centre) chose not to send their party chiefs to the meeting. Meanwhile, the Shram Sanskriti Party, led by Harka Sampang Rai, completely boycotted the gathering.
