All Mutual Funds of NMB Capital Report Net Loss and NAV Fall in Mangsir

NMB Capital Limited has published the NAV Report of its funds till Mangsir, 2078.

NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 (NMBHF-1)'s NAV has risen to Rs. 13.66 in the month of Mangsir compared to NAV of the previous month of Rs. 14.78.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs.1 Arba, has invested Rs. 63.55 crores in listed shares and Rs. 3.58 crores in the public issue, right shares, and bonus shares. The fund has invested Rs. 34.51 crores in bonds and debentures.

The scheme has kept Rs. 15 crores in fixed deposits and has Rs. 19.98 crores as a bank balance.

The net loss till the end of Mangsir month stands at a little over Rs. 12.35 crores. The net loss was 1.12 crores in the month before that.

NMB 50 (NMB50), another 7-year mutual fund scheme managed by NMB Capital has also published financial highlights for the month of Mangsir. The NAV for the period was reported at Rs. 14.61, down from Rs. 16.16 in the previous month.

The scheme began with a fund size of Rs. 1.25 Arba including seed capital from the fund sponsors. The scheme has invested Rs. 1.08 Arba in shares of listed companies and Rs. 5.19 crores in the public issue, right shares, and bonus shares. Amount invested in fixed deposit stands at Rs. 18.75 crores while the bank balance stands at Rs. 35.24 crores. The fund has invested 16.29 crores in bonds and debentures.

By the end of Mangsir, the scheme has reported a net loss of Rs. 16.93 crores. In the previous month, the scheme was at a net profit of Rs. 2.38 crores.

The NAV report of "NMB Saral Bachat Fund - E" has also been unveiled. NMB Capital Limited recently allotted the public issue of the "NMB Saral Bachat Fund - E."

The "NMB Saral Bachat Fund - E" is an open-ended mutual fund, meaning it won't be traded in NEPSE. The fund has no maturity period, and the fund manager can add to the size of the mutual fund whenever needed.

The NAV stands at Rs. 9.56 in Mangsir compared to Rs. 10.28 in the month before. The fund has invested Rs. 29.43 crores in listed shares, Rs. 88.83 lakhs in public issues, and Rs. 8 crores in fixed deposits. The fund still has Rs. 14.22 crores in the bank and other assets worth Rs. 23.91 lakhs.

The fund is at a loss of Rs. 2.4 crores in Mangsir. In the month before that, it was at a profit of Rs. 1.51 crores.
