All 3 Mutual Funds of NIBL Ace Capital Reports Higher Losses and Decline in NAV in Bhadra

NIBL Ace Capital Limited has published the Net Asset Value (NAV) till Bhadra, 2079 of all three of its funds.

NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF)

NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF), a 7 years closed-end mutual fund scheme managed by NIBL Ace Capital Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nepal Investment Bank has reported a fall in its net asset value (NAV) for the month of Bhadra.

According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV is fallen to Rs. 9.77 as of Bhadra end, 2079 which was Rs. 10.42 in the previous month.

The scheme which began with a total fund of Rs. 75 crores has invested Rs. 46.71 crores in the listed shares and Rs. 13.64 crores in public issues, right shares, and bonus shares. This scheme has Rs. 16.04 crores in the bank balance.

NIBLPF has posted a net loss of Rs. 1.73 crores in the month of Bhadra. The loss was Rs. 1.01 lakhs in the month before that.

NIBL Sahabhagita Fund (NIBLSF)

NIBL Sahabhagita Fund (NIBLSF) is NIBL Ace Capital's fund scheme and is the first open-ended fund. This fund is not tradable at Nepal Stock Exchange like other closed-ended funds and it has no fixed maturity period.

The fund size as of Bhadra is Rs. 76.69 crores which was Rs. 73.42 crores a month ago.

According to the financial report published today, the fund scheme’s NAV stands at Rs. 9.90 as of Bhadra end, 2079 which was Rs. 10.74 in the previous month.

The scheme has invested Rs. 24.77 crores in the listed shares and Rs. 7.90 crores in public issues, right shares, and bonus shares. It has 8.90 crores in fixed deposits and has invested 5.96 crores in bonds and debentures.

This scheme has Rs. 29.12 crores in the bank balance. NIBL Sahabhagita Fund has posted a net loss of Rs. 82.37 lakhs in the month of Bhadra. The profit was Rs. 4.38 lakhs last month.

NIBL Samriddhi Fund - II (NIBSF2)

NIBL Samriddhi Fund - II (NIBSF) has also unveiled its NAV report.

NIBL Samriddhi Fund - II is a mutual fund scheme initially worth Rs 1.2 Arba. Considering that each unit of a mutual fund has a face value of Rs. 10, twelve crore units were issued. NIBL Samriddhi Fund - II is a closed-end mutual fund scheme with a maturity period of 10 years. Since the issue was oversubscribed, the fund was resized to be worth Rs. 1.5 Arba.

The NAV for the month of Bhadra stands at Rs. 8.40, compared to the previous month's NAV of Rs. 8.59. Rs. 65.05 crores of the fund are invested in listed shares and Rs. 12.28 crores in bonds and debentures. Rs. 18 crores of the fund are in fixed deposits and Rs. 15.01 crores in bank deposits. The fund has invested Rs. 15.52 crores in public issue and has Rs. 51.15 lakhs worth of other assets.

The fund is at a net loss of Rs. 2.37 crores in Bhadra. In the month before that, it was at a profit of Rs. 48.91 lakhs.
