Agricultural Development Bank celebrates 49 successful years of operation; Minister of Finance inaugurated the program

Agricultural Development Bank Limited organized its 49^th Anniversary of the Bank on January, 2016 (today) on the premises of Agriculture Development Bank, Ramshah path. The bank has entered into its 49^th year of operation by completing its 48 years of operation. The anniversary program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Bishnu Prashad Poudel, Minister of Finance. Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Poudel appreciated the work done by the Agricultural Development Bank in rural areas and suggested the bank to be more competitive. Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Lila Prakash Sitaula highlighted the financial progress of the bank. Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal said, “ Agricultural Development Bank has made a contribution to the economic development and is a trusted bank among the people of rural areas. The bank should gradually minimize the operating risk, he added. Dr. Nepal also distributed the certificates and Medals to the employees who have completed 20 & 25 years of service in Agricultural Development Bank Limited.
