After losing 5.08 points today, NEPSE closes for the week at 1314.55 points; four companies hit the circuit today

On the last trading day of the week, NEPSE lost 0.39% or 5.08 points and closed at 1314.55 points. The turnover stood at Rs.93.26 Crore achieved from trade of 2,943,304 units of shares traded through 12,043 transactions trading scrips of 170 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Upper Tamakoshi (UPPER) after it posted a turnover of Rs.15.59 Crore achieved through trade of 531,272 units of shares. The LTP of the hydropower giant stands at Rs.287 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit today. NMB Microfinance (NMBMF) gained 9.95% or 97 points while Multipurpose Finance (MPFL) gained 9.63% or 21 points. Similarly, two companies hit the negative circuit today. Newly listed Himalaya Urja Bikas Company (HURJA) lost 9.72% or 14 points while Himalayan Power Partner (HPPL) lost 9.70% or 20 points.

Sensitive Index lost 0.89 points and closed at 280.38 points while Float Index lost 0.46 points and closed at 96.34 points.

Hotels, Non-Life Insurance, Others, Microfinance and Mutual Funds were among gaining sub-indices while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
