After losing 3.92 points today, NEPSE stands losing continuously for the whole week

On the last trading day of the week, NEPSE continued to fall. The market saw a fall of 3.92 points and closed at 1178.50 points marking a fall of 0.33%. The turnover stood at Rs.27.73 Crore which was achieved by trade of 1,020,595 units of shares from 3,502 transactions trading scrips of 159 companies. The market saw a fall every day this week.

NMB Bank had the highest turnover of Rs.4.95 Crore followed by NLG Insurance Company with turnover of Rs.3.10 Crore. Janata Bank Nepal stood third with a turnover of Rs.1.06 Crore. The total of the three companies make up more than 9 Crore of the total turnover.

NMB Bank stood ahead in terms of shares traded after trade of 161,413 units of share. Janata Bank Nepal saw trade of 69,727 units making it the second in terms of shares traded today.

NIBL Samriddhi Fund 1 was the top gainer today after gaining 6.09% followed by Laxmi Value Fund 1 which gained 4.46%. Citizens Investment Trust saw a gain of 3.93%.

Today’s top loser was Unilever Nepal after its share prices fell by 928 points marking a fall of 3.94%. Other losers included Saptakoshi Development Bank who lost 3.36% and Kankai Bikas Bank who lost 3.52% of their share price.

Sensitive Index fell by 0.54 points and closed at 248.99 points while Float Index fell by 0.31 points and closed at 84.68 points.

Except for Development Banks sub-index and Others sub-index, all the other sub-indices saw a fall. The top loser being Manufacturing and Production sub-index which saw a fall of 54.67 points.
