After 3 months hiatus Rastriya Banijya Bank appoints Kiran Kumar Shrestha as CEO

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) has appointed Mr. Kiran Kumar Shrestha as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the state owned commercial bank. The BoD meeting of the commercial bank held on Sunday (Chaitra 21, 2072) appointed Mr. Shrestha as the new CEO. Altogether 3 competitors were in the row for the post. Among them were Krishna Prasad Sharma, Anil Upadhyaya and Kiran Shrestha. The CEO selection process was held under the coordination of Assistant Secretary Mr. Krishna Devkota of the Ministry of Finance (MoF). The post was vacant for more than three months with the completion of former CEO Mr. Krishna Prasad Sharma’s 4 years tenure.
