After 2 consecutive days of positive closing, Nepse Index dwindled by 4.37 points today;turnover above Rs 80.98 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 4.37points or 0.26% to close at 1701.91 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1706.14 points, the local bourse went up to 1714.56 points in the firsttrading hour of the day and was seen in the downward trend. 96,574.units shares of Civil Bank Limited (CBL) and 66,240 unit shares of Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limied (BOKL) were traded most today. Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 80.98 crore where more than 9.46 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,490 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 0.84 and 0.41 points respectively. Except Development Bank, Manufacturing & Production and Others, all trading groups landed in red. Sub-indices of Development Banks, Manufacturing and others group rises by 1.91 points, 3.99 points and 8.96 points respectively. gin lose sec traded tran turn
