A New Record in The Price of Gold: Trading Today at Rs. 1,17,000

The price of gold is setting new record daily.

The price of gold has reached an all-time high, surging by Rs. 1,000 per tola in the local market. According to official data from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now trading at an unprecedented rate of Rs. 1,17,000 per tola. Just on Friday, the price of this precious metal was at Rs. 1,16,000 per tola. Tejabi gold has also experienced a significant increase and is currently being traded at Rs. 1,16,450, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,15,450 per tola.

On the sideline, silver has gain Rs. 15 per tola. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs.1,415 per tola, compared to Fridays closing rate of Rs. 1,400 per tola.

It's worth noting that these noteworthy price fluctuations in the local market are consistent with global trends. Currently, the worldwide price for gold is at USD $2,005.60 per ounce, while silver is being exchanged at $23.09 per ounce.
