79 Lakh units right shares of NCCB get listed on NEPSE; bank still short of Rs.99 Crore to meet the minimum paid up capital requirement

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has published a notice regarding the listing of right shares of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCCB). NEPSE has listed 7,911,281 units of right shares of the commercial bank. The company had auctioned these shares after it was unable to allot 50% right shares to its shareholders. These shares can now be traded on the secondary market. 

The paid up capital of the bank, as of the end of the second quarter of FY 75/76, stands at Rs.7.01 Arba. The bank will likely distribute bonus shares for the remaining Rs.99 Crore to meet the minimum capital requirement of Rs.8 Arba. The bank posted a free profit of Rs.64.39 Crore for the mentioned period.
