19th AGM of Oriental Hotels to endorse 20% stock & 6.32% cash dividend; AGM on Ashwin 19

Oriental Hotels Limited (OHL) will be convening its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Ashwin 19, 2073. The AGM will be held at Nepal Prasasanik Prasikshan Kendra, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur at 11: 00 AM. The main agendas of the AGM will be:

• To endorse 20 percent bonus share and 6.32 percent cash dividend (for tax purpose only) from the net profit it earned in the fiscal year 2072/73.
• To amend article of association and memorandum of association to increase it’s paid up capital.
• To approve purchase of the land used by the BoD of the hotel.

Other main agendas of the AGM include financial highlights of 2072/73 and appointment of auditor. The register of the shareholders will remain closed from Ashwin 6, 2073 till Ashwin 19, 2073 for the purpose of its AGM. Only those shareholders owning shares till Ashwin 5, 2073 will be entitled to the bonus share of the company. OHL has earned net profit of Rs 1.17 arba in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2072/73.Its paid up capital remains at Rs 6.59 arba. After 20% bonus share distribution, its paid up capital will reach to Rs 7.90 arba.
