110 companies eligible for trading by stock dealers

The Nepal Stock Exchange has unveiled the list of companies eligible for trading by stock dealers.

The list includes a total of 110 companies deemed tradable (all 19 commercial banks listed on the NEPSE, 10 development banks, two finance companies, 22 microfinance, 24 hydropower, 10 life insurance, 11 non-life insurance, six from investment sector, two from production, two from hotel and two from other).

NEPSE stated that the list was prepared in accordance with Section 3(2) of Chapter 2 of the Securities Dealer Operations Procedure, 2077. The selected companies have met the required criteria, providing stock dealers with a framework to carry out their trading activities within the defined guidelines.
