11-KW hydropower project construction complete

The construction of 11.5-KW Chherwang Patlekhola hydropower project based in Rum-7 of Myagdi has been completed. As many as 110 households of the local community have been benefitted from the hydropower project constructed at the total cost of Rs 5.34 million. Each household of the locality had contributed Rs 20,000 in cash and 150 days of kind labour for the construction of the project, said Principal of Gorakshya Lower Secondary Hem Bahadur Budha. The Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) had granted a financial assistance of Rs 2.25 for the project. RSS
