With 0.18% Uptick, NEPSE Settles at 2,639.91 Level; HydroPower Sector Sees Highest Gain Among All Indices

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today,gaining by 4.90 points (0.18%) to settle at 2,639.91. This follows a 5.54 point loss the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,633.31, touching an intraday high of 2,653.66, while the lowest point was 2,631.78. Total turnover for the day reached Rs.6.99 Arba, with 13,624,824 shares traded across 349 companies through 77,017 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.32 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.06 Kharba.

Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 54.65 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 819.00.

Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) led the gainer's list with 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited (RHPL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.09%.

Among sectors, the HydroPower Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.02%, while the Hotels And Tourism Index saw the highest loss at 0.48%.
