VG Motors Unveils 7-Seater SRM Electric Van in Nepal

VG Motors, the authorized dealer for SRM and Joylong electric vehicles (EVs) in Nepal, launched the 7-seater SRM electric van at Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu, with senior actor Sunil Thapa unveiling it. The van features a 50 kW motor, a 300 km range, and is priced at NPR 3.9 million, suitable for corporate, hotel, and school use. VG Motors operates 75+ charging stations and 20+ service centers nationwide, offering spare parts at 80% lower cost than other EVs.

The launch included a workshop addressing EV myths, environmental benefits, cost savings, mechanical maintenance, and battery recycling. Experts highlighted that replacing diesel vans with SRM EVs can reduce urban pollution by 80%, lower maintenance costs by over 60%, and provide long-term operational savings. The company emphasized continued workshops and technical support to educate EV users and promote adoption in Nepal.
