US Embassy Launches Entrepreneurship Skills Program in Nepal
US Embassy Nepal has launched a nationwide entrepreneurship skill-building program in partnership with International Development Institute and Aadyanta Advisory, starting from Nepalgunj.
This initiative aims to equip early-stage Nepali entrepreneurs with practical skills to build sustainable businesses, attract investment, and compete in regional and global markets. This program starting from Lumbini to Nepalgunj and will expand to cities including Dhangadhi, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Hetauda, Bhairahawa, and Pokhara, covering all seven provinces and engaging around 200 entrepreneurs through in-person workshops and virtual bootcamps.
Training sessions will focus on business fundamentals, market validation, investor communication, digital marketing, and export readiness. The program is expected to help entrepreneurs transform innovative ideas into viable enterprises that generate employment and contribute to Nepal’s long-term economic growth.
According to the Public Affairs at the US Embassy Nepal, Chief Mike Harker, this initiative will strengthen Nepal’s private sector and create new opportunities for trade and commercial collaboration between Nepal and the United States.
The program is part of the US Nepal Commercial Diplomacy Series and is being implemented in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal and the Global Impact Collective.
