Two-Way Traffic Stalled on Narayangadh-Mugling Road

The Narayangadh-Mugling road has been blocked since last night, bringing two-way traffic to a halt. The road section was affected by a landslide that occurred at Bridge No. 3 in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-5 of Chitwan.

According to the Mugling area police office, efforts are underway to clear the landslide debris and restore traffic flow. Bishal Tamang, the police inspector at the area police office in Muglin, stated that the removal process will commence once the snapped power cables, in addition to the landslide debris, are managed.

The road has experienced repeated blockages at the same location since last Thursday. With an average of 10,000 vehicles traversing this route daily, the frequent closures are causing significant inconvenience and distress to travelers.
