ESewa, Nepal’s leading digital payment service provider, has launched the “Every Boundary Counts” campaign to support red panda conservation through the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2026.

Under the campaign, eSewa will contribute Rs. 2,000 for every six and Rs. 1,000 for every four hit during the tournament, with a total contribution capped at Rs. 10 lakh, including taxes. The initiative is being carried out in partnership with Red Panda Network and Red Panda Network Nepal.

The funds will support habitat restoration and employment opportunities for local communities in Ilam and Panchthar. The campaign aims to restore around 10 hectares of degraded habitat, plant 10,000 native trees, and generate approximately 600 paid workdays, with priority given to women. Conservation and plantation activities are planned for June and July 2027.

eSewa’s Chief Strategy Officer Ravi Shakya said the campaign aims to turn the excitement of cricket into meaningful support for biodiversity conservation and local livelihoods.

Red Panda Network Executive Director Ang Phuri Sherpa and Red Panda Network Nepal Chairman Dr. Shailendra Bahadur Thakali also welcomed the partnership, highlighting its potential to connect cricket’s popularity with conservation efforts.

eSewa will publish updates on the contributions collected during the NPL through its website and social media platforms.
