Siddhartha Bank Launches Nepal’s First Fully Virtual Fonepay Credit Card

Siddhartha Bank Ltd., in partnership with Fonepay Payment Service Ltd., has launched the Siddhartha Fonepay Credit Card, Nepal’s first fully virtual credit card, offering secure, digital, and convenient payments.

Unveiled during the Nepal Premier League, the card allows instant activation, real-time control, and contactless payments at over 1.8 million Fonepay QR merchants nationwide without a physical card. A special launch offer provides 50% cashback up to Rs. 750 for new users.

This collaboration enhances financial inclusion and strengthens Nepal’s digital payments ecosystem, with the card now available to eligible Siddhartha Bank customers via its mobile banking app. With Siddhartha Bank, Fonepay Credit Cards are now offered across eight leading banks in Nepal.
