Siddhartha Bank another centurion in branch network; barrage of newly opened eight branches on a single day

As mandated by Nepal Rastra Bank for commercial banks to open branches in different locations of the country, Siddhartha Bank has established eight new branches at Madhavnarayan of Rautahat, Dulegauda of Tanahun, Gaidakot of Nawalpur, Bardaghat of Nawalparasi, Kotihawa of Rupandehi, Jitpur of Kapilvastu, Lahan of Siraha and Surunga of Jhapa. The branch came into operation from Baisakh 23, 2075.

These branches, in accordance with the policy of Nepal Government and Nepal Rastra Bank, will manage the accounts and financial transactions of local government. Likewise, the branches shall offer a wide array of banking products and services, which will benefit a large number of customers residing in and near Madhavnarayan, Dulegauda, Gaidakot, Bardaghat, Kotihawa, Jitpur, Lahan and Surunga.

With the opening of these branches, the Bank’s network throughout the country reaches 108 branches (including 3 extension counters), 99 branchless banking locations, 108 ATMs, and 687 POS machines.

As per the unaudited financial results as at Chaitra of fiscal year 2074/75, the Bank has recorded an operating profit of 2.04 billion , deposit portfolio of Rs.  90.40  billion and a loan portfolio of Rs. 81.17 billion.
