Selling Pressure Continues; NEPSE Sheds Over 10 Points to Settle at 2,662.14

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 10.25 points (0.38%) to settle at 2,662.14. This follows a 26.05 point loss in the previous session. 

The benchmark index opened at 2671.09, touching an intraday high of 2,682.41, while the lowest point was 2,655.30. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.61 Arba, with 21,715,868 shares traded across 324 companies through 89,836 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.69 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.20 Kharba.

 

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Co. Ltd. (AHPC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 45.28 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 294.50.

 

Kalinchowk Darshan Limited (KDL) led the gainers list with 6.36%.

 

Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.24%.

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.52%, while the Development Bank Index saw the highest loss at 1.15%
