SEBON wraps up 25th anniversary program; provides cash prizes to 3 best dissertations on stock market
Securities Board of Nepal has concluded celebration of its 25th anniversary on Jestha 25, 2075. The concluding event was attended by the Finance Minister Yuvaraj Khatiwada, chairman of the board Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, Governor of Rastra Bank Dr. Chirinjivi Nepal, former chairman of the board Mr. Dipak Raj Kafle, chairman of Insurance Board Mr. Chiranjivi Chapagain, chairman of Nepal Industries Association Mr. Haribhakta Sharma, among others. The board has also conferred the Best Sharemarket Journalism Award to Karobar Daily newspaper for its contributions towards stock market of Nepal.
The board has awarded Mr. Ram Chandra Basnet from TU School of Management with Rs 75000 for his excellent work of research and thesis during his MBA. Mr. Rashesh Vaidya who completed his M.Phil from TU has been awarded with Rs 40000 and Rs 35000 has been similarly awarded to Ms. Archana Joshi from Sankar Dev Campus for research work in M.B.M.
