Sajha Bikas Bank NPL accelerates to 8.35% from 4.63%; net loss of Rs 1.97 crore in Q1

Sajha Bikas Bank Limited (SAJHA) has reported net loss of Rs 1.97 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2074/75. As per the report published in newspaper, the development has stated that its operating loss surges to Rs 1.99 crore in Q1 from Rs 1.73 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74. It has collected deposits of Rs 45.71 crore and floated loans of Rs 36.80 crore in Q1. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 10 crore and has negative reserve of Rs 19.23 crore. The development bank non-performing loan (NPL) accelerates to 8.35% from 4.63%. Its annualized Earning Per Share (EPS) now negative at Rs 19.70, net worth per share at Rs 80.76. SAJHA is under the acquisition process with Deva Bikas Bank Limited (DBBL) in the share swap ratio of 1:1.
