Reliable Investment and Merchant Capital Expands Operations with Full Merchant Banking License and New Leadership

Reliable Investment and Merchant Capital Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Reliable Nepal Life Insurance, was registered as a public company in 2078/06/10. It has received several approvals from the Securities Board of Nepal, including a merchant banking license (2080/04/29), approval to operate as the fund manager and depository (2081/08/02), and full authorization to conduct all merchant banking activities (2082/08/23).

The company currently provides services such as securities issuance and sales management, share registration, institutional advisory, underwriting, investment management, and mutual fund operations. Mr. Bhisma Raj Chalise, with over 30 years of experience in Nepal’s capital market and banking sector, was appointed CEO on 2082 Bhadra 27 for a four-year term. Under his leadership, the company aims to expand its services by adopting advanced technology and complying with regulatory guidelines. The company also completed its fourth Annual General Meeting on 2082 Mangsir 12.
