Nirdhan Utthan Sanstha conducts 2 days soap making training for 16 earthquake affected women of Lalitpur

Nirdhan Utthan Sanstha has conducted 2 days soap making training for the earthquake affected women from Tikathali and Thecho of Lalitpur district on Ashadh 7 and 8, 2075. The training event which aimed at empowering 16 earthquake affected women was conducted at Tikathali and was attended by CEO of the institution Ms. Anju Pandey Panta and was facilitated by Ms. Laxmi Rai, and Ms. Sapana Bhulun as the trainers. Program Officer at Global Peace Foundation Mr. Susmit Sunuwar, branch manager of the Tikathali branch of Nirdhan Utthan Microfinance MS. Bandhana Gyawali, branch manager of Thecho branch Mr. Hiralal B.K., among others were present in the event.

Nirdhan Utthan Sanstha is also attributed for the beginning of microfinance service in Nepal some 25 years ago which has been an instrumental move to uplift the socio-economic condition of rural Nepalese women throughout the nation.
