NIC Asia Bank Urges Customers to Update PAN for Tax Compliance

NIC Asia Bank requests its customers to update their Permanent Account Number (PAN) in their accounts as mandated by Nepal’s Income Tax Act. Customers can update their PAN via the bank’s portal, mobile app, or any branch.

Updating PAN is Electronic Tax Deducted at source (E-TDS) reporting on interest payments, enabling smooth issuance of tax deduction and clearance certificates.

The bank is not responsible if customers fail to update their PAN, causing tax reporting issues. Customers facing issues despite submitting their PAN should contact the nearest branch or customer service.
