NIC ASIA Bank to facilitate in insurance coverage against Covid-19; launches web portal with insurance schemes as low as Rs 300

NIC ASIA Bank has launched a web portal to facilitate in easy availability of insurance policies for its customers that provide them with the protection against Covid-19.

The bank has launched the portal https://covid19.nicasiabank.com/_ where customers can use bank’s mobile and internet banking to purchase insurance policies that are being offered by different insurance companies targeting the Coronavirus infection.

The policies for Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50 thousand are available where the customers need to pay the premium of Rs 1000 and 500 for individual package and Rs 600 and Rs 300 for institutional and family package respectively, as per the media statement.

The bank currently provides its services to its strong customer base from its 319 branches, 461 ATM terminals, 108 extension counters and 61 branchless banking units throughout the nation.
