NIC Asia Bank Requests Customers to Update PAN and Email for Tax
NIC Asia Bank urges its customers to update their Permanent Account Number (PAN) and email addresses to comply with Nepal’s Income Tax Act and ensure proper reporting of E-TDS (tax deducted at source) on interest payments. Customers can update PAN via the bank’s portal, mobile app, or any branch.
Updating PAN ensures automatic matching of tax records and easier access to tax certificates. Similarly, email addresses can be updated through the bank’s Video KYC, mobile app, or any branch. The bank emphasizes that it is not responsible for tax discrepancies if customers fail to update their PAN. For assistance, customers can contact the bank’s branches or call centers.
