NEPSE Witnessed Loss of 0.51% to Close at 2,631.17 Levels; BANDIPUR Leads Turnover While Only Four Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 13.52 points (0.51% ) to settle at 2,631.17. This follows a 0.53 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2647.41, touching an intraday high of 2,658.97, while the lowest point was 2,622.88. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.23 Arba, with 10,873,372 shares traded across 332 companies through 67,485 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.17 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.94 Kharba.


Bandipur Cablecar and Tourism Limited (BANDIPUR) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 18.49 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 825.00.

 

Five Companies led the gainer's list by 10.00% each.

 

Meanwhile, Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 2.85%.

 

Among sectors, Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.59%, while the Life Insurance saw the highest loss at 1.18%.
