NEPSE Witnessed a Loss of 21.19 Points; All Sector Close at Red

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit loss today, losing 21.19 points (0.80%) to close at 2,612.42. This follows a 48.57 -point gain in the previous trading session.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2,635.31 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,639.41 and a low of 2,604.04 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 5.38 Arba, with 15,101,555 shares traded across 350 companies through 55,831 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.96 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.20 Kharba.

 

Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC)  topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 37.95 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 228.00.

 

Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) led the gainer's list with a 6.37% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 745.00 .

 

Meanwhile, NMB Hybrid Fund L- II (NMBHF2) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 7.73%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 8.47.

 

Among sectors, the HydroPower Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 1.04%, while Manufacturing And Processing recorded the highest loss, down 0.55%.
