NEPSE Rebounds By 0.48% to 2,950; Intraday Turnover Hits Rs. 13.16 Arba, NRN Leads Rally

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a gain of 0.48%, or 14.21 points, settling at 2,950.16 points at the close of trading today, following a Loss of 24.45 points in the previous session.
The trading day commenced with the index opening at 2,933.93 points. Throughout the session, the index reached an intraday high of 2,951.28 points and an intraday low of 2,918.22 points before settling at its closing value.
In today's session, a total of 343 scrips were traded through 142,734 transactions, resulting in a substantial volume of 30,438,315 shares. This activity led to an impressive turnover of Rs. 13.16 Arba. The market capitalization for the intraday stood at Rs. 50.09 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was Rs. 16.96 Kharba.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) emerged as the day's highlight with a turnover of Rs. 94.29 Crore, closing at a market price of Rs. 1,670.00.

Similarly, Five Companies hit a positive circuit for today.

Conversely, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Ltd (PMHPL) faced a decline, by losing 7.48% to close at Rs. 396.00.

In terms of sector indices, only 9 sectors closed in green today while mutual fund stays constant at 0.00 . The "Hydropower Index" saw the highest gain of1.56%, while the "Trading Index" saw the highest loss of 2.84%.
