NEPSE Plunges By 17.53 Points to Close at 2,714.05; NGPL leads Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at 14.56 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 17.53 points (0.64%) to settle at 2,714.05. This follows a 5.08 point gain in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,731.85, touching an intraday high of 2,742.53, while the lowest point was 2,710.04. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 14.56 Arba, with 35,477,939 shares traded across 320 companies through 138,883 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.56 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.51 Kharba.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 59.99 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 430.00.

Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) led the gainer's list with 9.23% each.

Meanwhile, three companies recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

Among sectors, the Hydropower Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.38%, while the Development Bank Index saw the highest loss at 2.23%.
