NEPSE Plunges By 13.35 Points to Settle at 2,635.94; Manufacturing And Processing Sector Leads Decline

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 13.35 points (0.50%) to settle at 2,635.94. This follows a 9.93 point gain the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2650.95, touching an intraday high of 2,654.62, while the lowest point was 2,630.86. Total turnover for the day reached Rs.5.17 Arba, with 10,633,717 shares traded across 323 companies through 72,474 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.25 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.02 Kharba.


SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 26.94 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,190.10.


Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) led the gainer's list with 6.08% each.

 

Meanwhile, SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.45%.


Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.21%, while the Manufacturing And Processing saw the highest loss at 1.16%.
