NEPSE Index surges by more than 10 points today; participation in market improves with turnover at Rs.31.14 Crore

The market gained double digits points today as well and closed at 1145.69 points. NEPSE Index gained 0.89% or 10.13 points today. The turnover amount stood at Rs.31.14 Crore achieved through trade of 1,386,028 units of shares traded through 3,683 transactions trading scrips of 164 listed companies in the process.
Promoter Shares of Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NBBPO) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.7.01 achieved through trade of 561,000 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.125 per share.
Synergy Power Development (SPDL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 6.85% or 5 points and closed at Rs.78 per share. Saptakoshi Development Bank (SAPDBL) was today’s top lose as it lost 9.09% or 13 points and closed at Rs.130 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 3.19 points and closed at 250.21 points while Float Index gained 0.79 points and closed at 84.87 points.
Hotels, Manufacturing and Mutual Funds sub-indices lost points today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
