NEPSE Index Records 22.85 Points Gain ; 4 Banks Rank Among Top 5 Traded Companies

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain on the last trading day of this week, gaining 22.85 points (0.87%) to close at 2,647.22. This follows an 11.93-point gain in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,626.83 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,647.48 and a low of 2,614.12 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 6.74 Arba, with 21,272,761 shares traded across 345 companies through 64,072 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.53 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.43 Kharba.

Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 32.13 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 227.00.

Snow Rivers Limited (SNORL) led the gainer's list with a 13.66% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 1,057.00.

Meanwhile, Hathway Investment Nepal Limited (HATHY) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 15.00%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 499.80.

Among sectors, the Banking SubIndex recorded the highest gain, gaining by 1.59%, while Others Index recorded the highest loss, down 0.11%.
