NEPSE Index Rebounds By 1.10% After Yesterday's 13.85 Points Slide

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain today, gaining by 27.94 points (1.10%) to close at 2,559.49. This follows a 13.85 -point loss in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,529.78 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,559.49 and a low of 2,524.55 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.36 Arba, with 12,089,709 shares traded across 345 companies through 49,006 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.02 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.85 Kharba.

Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 36.66 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 252.20.

Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) led the gainer's list with a 10.53% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 2,763.30.

Meanwhile, Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 5.71%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 537.00

Among sectors, Hydropower Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 1.83%, while the Others Index recorded the least gain, down 0.42%.
