NEPSE Index Loses By 10.53 Points to Settle at 2,622.88; Only Two Sector Close at Green While Overall Volume Stood at 4.77 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 10.53 points (0.40%) to settle at 2,622.88. This follows a 47.55 point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2640.17, touching an intraday high of 2,642.67, while the lowest point was 2,618.19. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.77 Arba, with 10,037,307 shares traded across 337 companies through 69,548 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.03 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.93 Kharba.

 

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 23.02 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 880.00.

 

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.

 

Meanwhile, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

 

Among sectors, the Development Bank Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.67%, while the Life Insurance saw the highest loss at 0.85%.
