NEPSE Index Gains by Minimal 0.21% to Settle at 2,625.70; UNHPL Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, increasing by 5.70 points (0.21%) to settle at 2,625.70. This follows an 18.37 point gain in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,622.33, touching an intraday high of 2,632.81, while the lowest point was 2,619.14. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.05 Arba, with 8,598,424 shares traded across 332 companies through 58,096 transactions.
Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 22.78 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 504.90.
Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) and SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.
Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest loss, losing 0.27%, while the Development Index saw the highest gain at 1.75%.
