NEPSE Index Gains by Minimal 0.17% to Settle at 2,640.54; Overall Volume Stood At 4.90 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 4.59 points (0.17%) to settle at 2,640.54. This follows a 13.35 point loss the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2633.87, touching an intraday high of 2,640.56, while the lowest point was 2,626.88. Total turnover for the day reached Rs.4.90 Arba, with 10,431,760 shares traded across 328 companies through 69,261 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.33 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.06 Kharba.


SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 20.06 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,258.00.


Sanvi Energy Limited (SANVI) led the gainer's list with 8.16% each.

 

Meanwhile, Super Madi Hydropower Limited (SMHL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.90%.


Among sectors, the Manufacturing And Processing Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.49%, while the Finance Index saw the highest loss at 0.44%.
