NEPSE Index Egdes Up By 1.52 Points To Close at 2,641.43; Overall Volume Stood at 6.20 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 1.52 points (0.05%) to settle at 2,641.43. This follows a 4.90 point gain the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,636.57, touching an intraday high of 2,648.98, while the lowest point was 2,633.00. Total turnover for the day reached Rs.6.20 Arba, with 12,504,970 shares traded across 320 companies through 72,671 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.35 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.06 Kharba.

Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 26.24 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 802.00.

Super Madi Hydropower Limited (SMHL) led the gainer's list with 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, 9% ICFC Finance Limited Debenture 2088 (ICFCD88) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.30%.

Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 2.55%, while the Manufacturing And Processing saw the highest loss at 0.41%.
