NEPSE Index Edges Up By 10.87 Points to Settle at 2,633.76 ; GVL Leads the Turnover While All Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 10.87 points (0.41%) to settle at 2,633.76. This follows a 10.53 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2622.29, touching an intraday high of 2,643.64, while the lowest point was 2,622.10. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.13 Arba, with 11,946,333 shares traded across 342 companies through 63,981 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.22 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.99 Kharba.

 

Green Ventures Limited (GVL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.17.79  crores. The stock closed at Rs. 510.00.

 

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) and Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

 

Among sectors, the Manufacturing And Processing registered the highest gain, gaining 1.61%, while the Life Insurance saw the least gain at 0.06%.
