NEPSE Index Edges Up by 0.12% To Settle at 2,584.49; SYPNL Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at 3.42 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 3.27 points (0.12%) to settle at 2,584.49. This follows a 13.88 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2579.33, touching an intraday high of 2,584.72, while the lowest point was 2,568.94. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.42 Arba, with 7,668,915 shares traded across 328 companies through 92,746 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.39 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.70 Kharba.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 30.98 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 806.00.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) led the gainers' list by 7.01% each.

Meanwhile, Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited (CLI) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.84%.

Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.28%, while the Life Insurance saw the highest loss at 0.78%.
