NEPSE Index Edged Up By 0.12% To Close At 2,565.16; SAHAS Leads the Turonver While Overall Volume Stood at 3.62 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 3.21 points (0.12% ) to settle at 2,565.16. This follows a 4.15 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2563.87, touching an intraday high of 2,569.99, while the lowest point was 2,548.01. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.62 Arba, with 7,947,058 shares traded across 327 companies through 55,632 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.96 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.55 Kharba.

Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 35.58 crores. The stock closed at Rs.672.90.

Four scrips hit the upper circuit, gaining a maximum of 10% each

Meanwhile, 10.25% Nepal SBI Bank Debenture 2083 (SBID83) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.39%.

Among sectors, HydroPower Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.77%, while the Others Index saw the highest loss at 0.67%.
