NEPSE Index Dips by 13.88 Points ; LBBL Leads Turnover While Only one Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, declining by 13.88 points (0.53%) to settle at 2,581.21. This follows a 19.92 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2595.08, touching an intraday high of 2,597.16, while the lowest point was 2,574.84. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.51 Arba, with 9,167,359 shares traded across 332 companies through 65,312 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.33 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.67 Kharba.

 

Lumbini Bikas Bank Ltd. (LBBL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 10.30 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 489.00.


SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) led the gainers' list by 9.99% each.

 

Meanwhile, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.84%.

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.57%, while the Hotels And Tourism Index saw the highest loss at 1.26%.
