NEPSE Index Closes With a loss of 13.46 Points To Settle at 2,662.91 ; Only One Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today declining by 13.46 points (0.48%) to settle at 2,766.78. This comes after a gain of 2.66 points in the previous trading session yesterday.

The benchmark index opened at 2,783.48 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,783.48 and a low of 2,783.48 before settling higher at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.70 Arba, with 10,617,483 shares traded across 353 companies through 51,601 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.420 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.83 Kharba.

Everest Bank Limited (EBLD86) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 34.01 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,145.00.

Kalinchock Hydropower Limited (KHPL) and Led the gainer's list with 14.99%.The stock Closed at Rs. 658.80.

Meanwhile, Vijaya laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (VLBS) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 4.69%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 712.00.

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund registered the highest gain by 0.32%, while Trading Index recorded highest fall, falling by 1.71%.
