NEPSE Index Climbs By 0.48% to Settle at 2,812.34 ; Four Scrips Hit Upper Cricuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 13.51 points (0.48%) to settle at 2,812.34. This follows a 26.07 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2800.75, touching an intraday high of 2,812.34, while the lowest point was 2,787.37. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 12.03 Arba, with 34,852,760 shares traded across 340 companies through 106,140 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.76 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 16.21 Kharba.

Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 56.37 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 370.00

Four Companies Hit Upper Circuit with 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, NIC ASIA Growth Fund-2 (NICGF2) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.74%.

Among sectors, the HydroPower Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.59%, while the Life Insurance saw the highest loss at 0.31%.
