NEPSE Gains Significant 31.12 Points to Settle at 2,672.55; Four Scrips Hit Upper Circuit While Overall Volume Stood at 8.40 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 31.12 points (1.17%) to settle at 2,672.55. This follows a 1.52 point gain the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,640.53, touching an intraday high of 2,672.73, while the lowest point was 2,640.13. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.40 Arba, with 16,611,479 shares traded across 338 companies through 95,445 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.87 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.26 Kharba.


Manjushree Finance Ltd. (MFIL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 53.16 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 849.90.

Four scrips hit upper circuit, gaining a maximum of 10% each.

Meanwhile,Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.78%.


Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 5.73%, while the Others Index saw the least gain at 0.45%.
