NEPSE continues its up trend; turnover above Rs 300 million

As the 4 major political parties of the country agreed to come on the common floor to discuss the major disputes in construction of the constitution, the confidence among the investors surged up whose affect was seen in the local bourse which surged up by 23.51 points or 2.61 percent to close at 925.49 level.

Also the Sensitive and Float index raised up by 2.67% and 3.08% closing at 198.09 and 65.53 level respectively.

As of today, NBL shares were traded maximum amounting Rs 53.75 million which is 17.67 percent of the total turnover of the day.

Similarly NLIC, NLICL, CHCL and NCCB were traded most today.

Share price of ALICL. KCDBL, SEWA, PLIC, JEFL and LICN increased by more than 9 percent.

Among the sub-indices, Banking and HydroPower increased by 26.54 and 73.68 points to close at 810.23 and 2106.43 levels respectively.

Finance and Insurance raised by 0.72 and 210.61 points respectively to settle at 519.96 and 3985.42 level respectively.

Others gained 1.14 points and Development up by 2.15 points.

Hotels and Manufacturing however plunged by 77.68 and 0.23 points to close at 1921.15 and 1492.46 level respectively.

Altogether 725,070 unit shares of 120 scrips were traded through 1,913 transactions worth Rs 304.07 million.
