NEPSE continues its down trend; plunges 22.14 points

NEPSE dropped more 22.14 points or 2.57 percent on Wednesday (4th trading day after resumption of trading) to close at 837.83 level.
Similarly Sensitive and Float also dipped by 2.71 and 2.59 percent to close at 178.90 and 58.78 levels respectively.
Altogether 277,515 unit shares of 69 scrips were traded through 1,271 transactions worth Rs 152.17 million.
Maximum trading were noticed in the shares like CHCL, SBL, SANIMA, MBL and EBL amid the increase in the number of buyers seeing the lower share price.
Each sub-index landed in red today. Banking and Insurance plunged maximum today of 28.41 and 86.49 points or 3.86 and 2.41 percent to close at 707.42 and 3501.54 levels respectively.
Development and Others gravitated by double digit of 10.54 and 11.74 points or 1.37 and 1.74 percent to close at 757.41 and 663.80 levels respectively.
HydroPower and Finance dropped by meager 6.05 and 1.46 points or 0.33 and 0.28 percent to settle at 1824.59 and 520.96 levels respectively.
YETI, METRO, SUPRME, MMDBL, PURBL and EBL were the only shares to land in green today.
LUBL, NIB, SKBBL, KBL, MBL and KCDBL were among the top losers of the day whereas share price of 13 scrips among the losers dropped by more than 9 percent.
