Nabil Bank Launches Virtual Credit Card for Fonepay QR Payments

Nabil Bank Limited has launched its Nabil Virtual Credit Card, enabling eligible customers to obtain and use a credit card digitally through the nBank App without traditional paperwork or branch visits.

The service, launched on October 15, 2026, allows pre-approved customers to apply through the “Apply Now” option in the app and make QR-based payments through Fonepay Merchant QR. The bank said the fully digital card is designed to provide a faster, secure and convenient credit facility.

To support the launch, Nabil Bank and Fonepay Payment Service Limited have signed an MoU to facilitate seamless transactions through Fonepay’s merchant QR network. The bank said the initiative is part of its broader strategy to accelerate digital transformation and provide customer-focused banking services.
